01 · Clear economics

You earn. Your audience saves.

A referral link gives your community a concrete reason to join: part of the fee back on every eligible close. You get your share the moment the close settles.

Example: one close

For a win, the positive PnL after the protocol's adjustments, before fees. For a loss, the realised loss. Not the deposit, and not the position's size.

To you · 1%$100to your Backtrade balance
To your referral · 0.2%$20back to their balance
Referral part of the fee · 1.2%$120

On a winning close the referral fee is taken from the payout, and 0.2% of the result goes back to the trader.

This is the referral part only: the protocol's base fee of 2% is charged separately. The 0.2% back lowers the referral part by 0.2 percentage points; it is not a 0.2% discount on the fee. Program terms

02 · A product for your audience

Something to show. A reason to try it.

BTC and ETH, long and short. Synthetic positions on HyperEVM settle against the protocol's pool at the midpoint of Hyperliquid's best bid and ask.

  • 1000×

    Leverage up to 1000×

Size the exposure freely within the caps. High leverage sharply raises the risk of liquidation.

  • 1 click

Buy and sell in one click

Open and close with no order book and no wallet popup for each trade.

  • 0

    Slippage

Fills at the Hyperliquid mid. Within the caps, a position's size does not move that price.

  • 0

    Funding payments

No periodic charge for holding a position.

  • LP

    A pool built by trading

Traders' losses fill the LP, and it pays winning trades by the protocol's rules.

  • 0

    Spread

Entry and exit at the midpoint of the best bid and ask, with no markup on the price.

The product at a glance

Show the mechanics on one trade.

Entry price, leverage, the result of the close and the credits: your audience judges the product more easily when it sees the terms at work.

Opening is free: there is no fee on the position's size. A winning PnL is adjusted by the protocol's formula, and closing fees are charged on the settled result. Leverage of up to 1000× can lose the whole margin on a small move.

03 · An economy traders take part in

Who earns from traders' losses?

On Backtrade, losses fill the LP, which pays winning trades. A trader with an eligible recorded loss gets BACK and can take part in later distributions by staking it.

  1. 01 · Trade

    A loss is recorded

A losing close or a liquidation is the basis for minting BACK by the emission rules.

  2. 02 · Take part

    BACK staked

The trader stakes the tokens they received. Their share is their stake over the total staked.

  3. 03 · Distributions

A share of income in USDC

What is available is distributed to stakers in proportion to their stakes.

  • 50%of the base trading fees goes to stakers, while the liquidity and queue conditions allow
  • LP surplusthe pool above $500,000 is distributed by the protocol's rules; when funds are short, a queue can form

Your community can take part in the exchange's economy even after a losing trade. BACK gives a share of distributions through staking. It is not company equity and not a promise to win back lost money. How distributions work

04 · A long-term partnership

One recommendation. A lasting relationship.

Your community gets a trading product, part of the fee back and the BACK mechanics. You get credits on the later eligible trades of the users bound to you.

  1. 01

A benefit your audience sees at once

0.2% of the settled result back is a concrete advantage of your link, and easy to explain with a dollar example.

  2. 02

The referral is bound on chain

Confirmed when they first enable trading and never changed afterwards. The rates in force are always in the app.

  3. 03

    Income that follows activity

You are paid on every new eligible close, with no separate promotion for each trade.

What you earn depends on your referrals' activity, the program's terms and the state of the protocol. A permanent binding does not mean permanent payouts, and the rates can change through the contract's timelock.

Get your link

  1. Connect your wallet

Right on this page, or on Referrals in the app. Its address works as your code at once; after your first deposit you can pick a name of your own.

  2. Share your link

A new user opens it before they first enable trading and confirms your invitation, with 0.2% back.

  3. Follow your credits

The app's Referrals page shows your referrals and your earnings. Each credit lands in your balance in the transaction of the eligible close.

Review draft
Backtrade is an on-chain exchange on HyperEVM for BTC and ETH, with leverage up to 1000× and no funding, spread or slippage on the fill price within the caps. A winning result is adjusted, and closes pay fees on the settled result. Through my referral link you get 0.2% of the settled result back on eligible closes, and I earn a 1% partner share. Liquidations at launch and closes while the payout queue holds claims are excluded. For eligible recorded losses a trader gets BACK; staking it gives a share of the USDC distributions available. BACK does not guarantee that losses are recovered. Leverage can lose the whole margin. Check the terms and the current rates in the Backtrade app.

Full rules

What is the 1% measured on?

On the settled result of an eligible close: for a winning position, the positive PnL after the deadband and the protocol's adjustments; for a losing one, the realised loss. Neither the deposit nor the position's size is the base.

What exactly does my referral get?

0.2% of the settled result back. The referral part of the fee is 1.2% without an invitation and in effect 1% with one. On a $10,000 result, for example, they get $20 back and you are credited $100. The protocol's base fees apply separately.

When is the money paid, and for how long do I earn?

On an eligible close your share is credited to your exchange balance in the same transaction: there is no partner payout schedule and nothing to claim. The binding is permanent, and credits continue for as long as the referral makes eligible trades. The rates can change through the timelock.

When is there no reward?

At launch, liquidations carry no referral fee. No fee is charged while the payout queue holds claims. A wallet that has already enabled trading cannot be added as a new referral later.

Is BACK a share in the company, or a guaranteed refund of a loss?

Neither. BACK is a token for taking part in the protocol's economy: staked, it gives a proportional share of the USDC distributions available. It is not company shares and does not guarantee that a loss is recovered. New emission and changes in the total staked change each staker's share.

What happens if the LP cannot cover a win?

The unpaid part of the profit goes into a queue. Later inflows to the LP pay the claims by the protocol's rules, and the wait is not known in advance. The queue comes before fee payouts to referrers and to stakers.

A scenario for your audience: how BACK payouts can exceed a loss

Example · a constant share of the stake

The loss is recorded. Participation continues.

Enter the BACK minted and the distributions to come. The result shows the break-even condition; it does not forecast emission or set a timeline.

Assumptions of the example

Payouts minus the original loss

+96 USDC

In this scenario the payouts exceed the loss by 96 USDC.

Your BACK staked
9,800 BACK
Your share of the total stake
0.98%
Payouts to you
196 USDC
Total distributions to break even
10,204.09 USDC
Original loss$100
Your payouts196 USDC

The example starts from the launch mint rate: 9,800 BACK for a $100 loss, minted for the $98 the LP keeps while it is below $500,000. Actual minting depends on the emission curve and on the trade. The model assumes a constant share of the stake, 1 USDC = $1 and that all the distributions entered become available. New emission and other stakers can lower your share. Future payouts are not guaranteed, and a loss can stay uncovered.
